Cookies & Cream Yeast Donuts

There's no law that states all the cream has to be in the middle, I happen to fancy my cream on top!  And after you experience these Cookies & Cream Yeast Donuts you will see why!!! (... I may start a movement...)  You should judge for yourself after submitting these for evidence, and then you will have proof positive that a jury would definitely vote "Cream on top"!  There's no defensive for not trying these 119 calorie dream filled spheres, with only 5.8g net carbs and 8.7g protein.  I solemly testify that these are innocent of any offense, the only thing they are guilty of is pleasure!  ;)

Ingredients for 8 Cream Filled Donuts~
1/2 cup warmed 30 cal/cup Almond Milk (microwave for 20 seconds)
1 package Rapid Rise Yeast
1 teaspoon Sugar
1/4 cup melted Coconut Oil
1 Extra Large Egg
1 scoop Quest Cookies & Cream Protein Powder (sub with Chocolate)
1/3 cup Lakanto Monk Fruit~use code Paige20 for discount at checkout
1/4 cup Black Cocoa or regular Cocoa Powder
1 teaspoon Baking Powder
Dash Cinnamon
Dash Vanilla
1 Tablespoon Lily's Stevia Sweetened Dark Chocolate Chips, divided evenly between Donuts
7oz 2% Greek Fage Yogurt
1/2 scoop Quest Salted Caramel Protein Powder
1/3 cup Lakanto Confectioners Monk Fruit~use code Paige20 at checkout for discount

Mix warmed Milk, Yeast and Sugar in bowl and let activate for 30 minutes.  Then stir in Coconut Oil, Egg, Cookies&Cream Protein Powder, Granular Monk Fruit, Cocoa, Baking Powder, Cinnamon and Vanilla til well incorporated.  Add batter to Pam coated Donut Tin, bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes, checking to not over bake as Protein Powder baking can dry out easily if over baked, and will continue to cook after removed from oven.  Meanwhile, mix together Yogurt, Salted Caramel Protein Powder and Confectioners Monk Fruit and chill in fridge.  After removing Donuts from oven, flip over on cooling rack and sprinkle Donuts with the Chocolate Chips, when completely cooled, fill middle evenly with Cream.  Enjoy  ;)
